The Problem
Algorithms decide visibility. Your reach depends on what the platform decides to show.
Numbers without meaning. 10,000 followers says nothing about whether you can do the work.
Self-reported claims. "Expert in X" is easy to say, impossible to verify.
Our Alternative
Named witnesses. Real people making specific statements about what they saw.
Specific attestations. Not "they're great" but "I saw them solve this specific problem."
Witness reputation matters. The credibility of the witness affects the weight of the testimony.
How It Works
Witness statement format:
"I saw [person] [do specific thing] on [project]. [Optional: specific details]."
Witness identity is attached. No anonymous endorsements.
Context is preserved. The project, the skill, the outcome.
Witnesses can be questioned. Their reputation is on the line too.
Example
Marcus witnesses:
"I saw Sarah troubleshoot a complex wiring issue on the Thompson kitchen remodel. She identified a code violation the original electrician missed and proposed a solution that saved the client $2,000."
This attestation links to: the project (Thompson kitchen), the skill (electrical troubleshooting), and includes specific detail (code violation, cost savings).
Marcus's own track record affects the weight of this testimony.
